At the Africa Neuropsych Center for Healing, Outreach, and Research (ANCHOR), we are dedicated to restoring hope and wholeness to individuals, families, communities, and institutions across Africa. Our mission is to provide excellent, empathic, and empowering mental health and leadership development services. These services are delivered by competent and compassionate professionals committed to nurturing minds, touching hearts, and developing servant-leaders.
Our Mission
Our Founder
Anchor Africa is guided by the visionary leadership of Pastor Gemene G Getteh, the founder of our organization. With over 20 years of experience as a religious leader in the Seventh-day Adventist Church and a prominent figure in Liberia, Pastor Getteh has been instrumental in counseling countless families and individuals dealing with mental health challenges. His pioneering spirit led to the creation of the Burean Hour program in 2013, which became a remarkable success through its unique approach of studying one Bible chapter every night from Genesis to Revelation.
Pastor Getteh's unwavering passion for leadership and mental health advocacy inspired him to establish Anchor Africa, aiming to extend his impactful work across the continent. Under his guidance, our dedicated team of professionals is committed to delivering compassionate care, innovative solutions, and transformative education to promote mental well-being and leadership excellence. At Anchor Africa, we strive to uphold the values of integrity, empathy, and empowerment in all our endeavors, ensuring a positive and lasting impact on the communities we serve.
Organizational Structure

Our team of skilled and compassionate professionals is dedicated to upholding our core values of Excellence, Empathy, and Empowerment in everything we do.
We offer two key programs to fulfill our mission of restoring hope and wholeness through mental health and leadership development.
1. ANCHOR Mental and Behavioral Health Clinic: our goal with this programs is to help Anchor hope in Africa through quality mental and behavioral health services.
2. ANCHOR Institute of Mental Health and Behavioral Sciences: this institute exists so that African can have quality mental health and leadership education.
